Catering

For anyone who’s attended a special celebration, it’s fair to say that the quality of food served can make or break an event. Hosting a gathering of any kind can be an overwhelming endeavor, but having it catered means you’re guaranteed to have a beautiful display of delightful food that your guests will rave about.

First, we will put together a menu to fit your occaison. Dietary restrictions or sensitivities are no problem.

Because most events are served from a residence, I try to put a limit of 40 persons or less, depending on the capacity of the kitchen available. I also love doing special smaller dinners, served family style. Another popular trend is to serve heavy appetizers for a more casual event. Either way, having your event catered means you can plan to have amazing food and a memorable evening that is everything you hoped for.

FAQ:

How Does It Work?

Chef Abby will arrive at your house around mid-day (or whatever works best for you ) to start making your dinner. About 45 minutes or so before dinner, she will put out appetizers – should you decide to serve them- so you and your guests can relax and have a little pre-dinner bite.
Then when you’re ready, yiou will sit down for dinner, served family style, with passed platters so you can all to take what you want. It’s also more “interactive” this way. 🙂
For desserts, a popular option is to offer a few different little dessert “bites” for the table, so this way it’s a nice little selection for everyone.
While you are all eating dinner and dessert, Abby will be packing up and cleaning the kitchen, leaving soon after you are done with your meal.

Are there additional fees or service charges?

Each event is priced separately between food cost, on-site labor, mileage, and any applicable rental or on-site service fees. There is a deposit required to hold the date and cover upfront costs. A final bill will be invoiced the day of the event and there is no gratuity included.

Will I lose my deposit if I have to cancel or postpone my event?

Having to postpone an event is totally understandable. Although your deposit is non-refundable, it is completely transferable to your rescheduled event date – or your next booked event – within one year of cancellation or postponement.
